Messages: Lancaster High School staff will not deliver messages to students in class. In the case of an emergency, please contact your student’s Vice Principal to discuss the situation and option of delivering a message.

Delivering Items: Lancaster High School staff will not deliver gifts, balloons, flowers, food, or other items to students. Students are not allowed to bring balloons, pies, cakes, cupcakes, or whole pizzas onto campus.

Peachjar is our new way to provide important information through digital flyers to parents via email, the school app and website. Community organizations may also send approved flyers to parents using Peachjar.

To ensure smooth delivery of communications from Peachjarplease add avuhsd@peachjar.com to your email contacts. When you receive your first e-flyer, be sure to click “always display images.” This system is used exclusively for distribution of District and/or school-approved flyers. Email addresses will not be shared or used for any other purpose.

PowerSchool’s Parent Portal gives parents and students access to real-time information including attendance, grades and detailed assignment descriptions, school bulletins, lunch menus and even personal messages from the teacher. Everyone stays connected: Students stay on top of assignments, parents are able to participate more fully in their student's progress, and teachers can use their grade book to make decisions on what information they want to share with parents and students.

How to Log In to PowerSchool’s Parent Portal

  1. Open your Web browser and go to the PowerSchool Parent Portal URL at https://powerschool.avhsd.org. The login page will appear.
  2. Enter your username in the first field.
  3. Enter your password in the second field.

Note: The characters appear as asterisks (*) to ensure greater security when you log in.

  1. Click Sign In. The PowerSchool Parent Portal start page will appear.

Note: Do not use someone else’s password or give your password to anyone else.

**All student data is stored on the District’s internal secured servers.
