Title I
Title I is a federally funded program that provides supplemental resources to high schools with a high percentage of students from low-income families. The purpose of this program is to ensure that all students, regardless of their socioeconomic background, have the opportunity to achieve academic success and meet challenging state standards. At a Title I high school, these funds are used to enhance educational programs, provide additional support services for at-risk students, and foster greater parent and family engagement, ultimately working to close the achievement gap and create a more equitable learning environment for every student.
